Nurse Practitioner 

​The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) has the ability to see children (ranging from ages 5 and up), Teens, Young Adults, and the Geriatric Population. We are looking for someone to work full-time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, and to work with our agencies located within North Carolina. Must be credentialed in the State of North Carolina Nursing Board NCBON, and have an active D.E.A. 

Clinical Psychologist 

Capeside is currently looking for Clinical Psychologists to offer outpatient Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA) for evaluating our clients' emotional and psychological needs. Preference will be given to previous work experience in a public health or community clinic setting, previous work as a Clinical Psychologist, and completion of a Doctorate degree from an accredited institution.



  1. Current licensure as a Doctorate Level in Psychology 

  2. Valid North Carolina Driver’s License


Must be able to meet and maintain current CSAC credentialing and privileging requirements.

Substance Abuse Counselor 

We are searching for Substance Abuse Counselors to provide confidential substance abuse counseling and/or psychotherapy services and educational support to individuals. 



  • Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling (CSAC) 

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-A)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-A)

  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)

  • Certified Clinical Addiction Specialist (CCAS)

Telehealth services you will provide:


All consultations are accomplished via video conferencing between patients seeking an opinion from a Nurse Practitioner or a Psychiatrist about symptoms and possible treatment options. Providers will listen, provide support, or information in response to the patient’s concerns.

Medication Management:

This treatment service  includes prescribing medication and providing ongoing monitoring and evaluation based on the patient’s individual treatment care plan. 

Psychiatric Evaluations:

A psychiatric evaluation is conducted by a Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatrist and generally includes a patient interview, medical history review, and diagnostic tests. The evaluation will help to establish the diagnosis of a mental disorder or condition and help the clinical team to develop a treatment plan. 


Psychiatric evaluations are based on the need of the patient for the Department of Social Services, surgical procedures, workers compensation, short term disability, long term disability, and other areas of needs as well.

Mental Health Counseling:

Sessions are done via video conferencing with a certified Counselor. Group or individual session times are given to the patient with directions on how to log-in and join the virtual meeting room.

  • Family Issues

  • Grief

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Personality Disorders

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
